I think that is the biggest factor for kids with ASD - if they don't have the support and guidance from those around them then they'll never achieve their full potential. I've seen first hand what a great family and friend network can do for someone on the spectrum. Keep giving your kids that love and support and I bet they'll surprise you more than you could imagine!
